Owner of the Surrey Public Market has taken back its 7.5 million dollar gift to the Salvation Army

Frank Mihal talks about how the owner of the Surrey Public Market (Walter Chan) has pulled back from donating the property (King George at 64th ave) to the Salvation Army and has decided to sell it instead for a list price of 7.5 million. Surrey's Mayor Dianne Watts is not too excited about the collapse of the deal, in addition to the Salvation Army. They have been trying to close this deal for 3 years!
