New law prohibits strata council's from adding rental restrictions!
Frank Mihal video blogs about the new law that came into effect January 1st 2010. As of now, on any new buildings, the strata council will not be able to change the rental bylaws/restrictions that the original developer set in their disclosure statement (which is almost always set as No Rental Restrictions).
